Chicago’s beloved Auditorium is a National Historic Landmark known internationally for its perfect acoustics, innovative architecture, and stunning design. When completed in 1889, the impressive Romanesque-style structure was the tallest building in Chicago and the largest building in the country. The Auditorium is the crowning achievement of famed architects Dankmar Adler and Louis Sullivan. Frank Lloyd Wright, who worked as a draftsman on the building and theatre, called it “the greatest room for music and opera in the world — bar none.”

We invite you to join us for a special evening that takes you on a private tour that explores all the nooks and crannies of this dynamic space. Bonus: you get to do it with a beer in hand! Our conversation will also include a bit about the relationship between the Auditorium, the 1893 World’s Fair, and the role of beer at that significant event that ultimately shaped Chicago.

$40 ticket price includes private access, tour, mini talk, light snacks, and beer! Special thanks to Revolution Brewing and the Conrad Seipp Brewing Company for supporting this event. Beers available will be Rev’s Fist City and Seipp’s Pre-Prohibition Pilsner - two beers related to the story of the 1893 World’s Fair!
